One year ago, we officially started our blog. Yeah! I’ve really enjoyed being part of the blogging community. Originally the purpose was designed around eliminating the mass emails to our friends and family as we attempted to keep in touch during our travels. We aren’t quite there yet as there are people who will not read this unless we notify them of new content…we’ll work on that next.
I was hoping to post some very clever, possibly interactive post to celebrate this milestone, possibly urging non-bloggers to start their own sites – but that seems like a gigantic undertaking π
We know how many people read our blog – and in some cases we even know who you are (depending on your isp). What I would like is for everyone who reads our One Year Anniversary blog to please post a comment here. Comments can be absolutely anything you want – maybe tell us what your favorite post has been, or just say “hi”. Every 10th comment will get a little something from Greece (sent once we get back in the U.S.)
We’ve had a fun journey with the blog, and look forward to continuing to share our journeys with you – thanks for reading π
I know how you feel ! Most people are so busy with their own lives, they don’t have time to leave you a note, telling you what a great job your duing. I’ve gotten to the point that if I don’t hear back back from special e-mails I send out, I just figure they are not interested in recieving my blogs and just drop them from my list. So much for friends !
According to the news Athens is on fire, I hope Keith is getting a lot of overtime fighting these fires. I hope he has time to take some pictures.

I’ve not only been following your lives through your blog, but I’ve also been following the fires in Greece. I hope both continue to go well and that your adventures (on the ground) continue!

First of all from what I have read about the fire season in Greece this summer, I pray for your and Keith’s safety. I enjoy your blog a tremendous amount. Your wonderful dry sense of humor is in every word. They make me laugh, and at times sad with you. Thanks for all the wonderful thoughts you share, and the travels you share. Since I hope to be able to RV like that someday.

Hi There,
I am sure we all enjoy your Blog. It is very interesting to hear of your goings on over there.
The fires recently have been dreadful, with terrible loss of life.
Keep it up.

Happy Anniversary you ole blogger you! Funny sometimes when you two come up in conversation, I find myself referring back here to see just where you were “that month” It truly is amazing just how far you two travel and the adventures you find along the way. Maybe this winter I’ll be part of this blog in Belize.

Hi!
I do follow your blogs and have found most very interesting. I liked the comments and things that you had to say about Carrie. Thank you.
I have directed several people to some writings, like the trips into Mexico and the FLIGHT RESTRECTIONS, LAW? As a pilot I know what you are talking about. By the way Curt is teaching me to fly model helies. I have had only three total wipe outs.
Love

Happy 1 year anniversary….. I cant believe it has been that long, it seems like yesterday. Thank you for the emails reminding me to read what you are up to. I am one of the ones busy and unable to surf the web , but your blogs are a journey for me, one that I will never be able to take and I appreciate your details and facinating stories.
Stay safe.

I have been following your blogs and every time I read them and look at the pictures, I realize not just how lucky you are to be doing what you are doing but that I get the chance to read and actually be a part of it all! I trust that you guys are safe there in Greece and that someday I will get to actually see you again in person. I REALLY miss your smiling faces at good old Fred Meyer in Tumwater! Take care and I’ll be waiting for my present from Greece!!!!!!! Love and miss you!

Hey Paula,
I’m going to pass on your web address to Lisa Scott and Lisa Erwin (Bennett). I think that Lisa Bennett would appreciate what Keith does, (as we all do) she is a flight nurse in Bishop. Give a BIG KUDOS to Keith for all he does and give yourself a BIG KUDOS for keeping all of us up to date. Take care.
